What happened to the iTrick Community?

For ideological reasons I've decided to discontinue the iTrick Community. I believe very strongly in Privacy Rights and can no longer justify violating those principals, even if my intent is to augment the hookup process with a sense of credibility. The U.S. Supreme Court's recent ruling in support of our Right to Privacy and certain legal issues that have come to my attention in the past few months have also influenced my decision.

Is this a joke?

This is no joke.  iTrick is fully functional and free!  I know it's hard to believe that I wrote software to help gay men hookup, but nearly everyone I've talked to has said, "I can't believe someone didn't think of it sooner.  Almost everyone I know could use this software!"  The fact that I'm giving it away for free makes it even harder to believe.  Just think of it as my form of community service. >grin<

How do I know iTrick is virus free?

Nothing I could possibly say would convince you that iTrick is virus free.  If you are concerned about viruses, I recommend purchasing the latest copy of McAfee Virus Scan.  What I can tell you is that knowingly distributing a virus is a felony.  My name is plastered all over this website.  itrick.org is registered with InterNIC and traceable by authorities.  If I was distributing a virus, I assure you, I'd be in jail by now.  If that's not enough to convince you, check out the feature Instinct magazine did on iTrick in April 2003.
